I had the OG Xbox, probably the best console of all time in my opinion, enjoyed the 360 but not as much. Toward the end of 7th gen I was becoming disillusioned with the state of gaming and monetization/DLC. The always online/kinnect/DRM stuff was the final straw for me and I swore off Xbox for good. Judging by the current state of Xbox I'm not the only one.

Amplitude on PS2 (2003) was the first rhythm/music game I got hooked on! It was made by Harmonix, who went on to make another lil music game you might've heard of- Guitar Hero (2005) Anyways.. Donkey Konga was sandwiched between those two games... So yup I had the Bongos haha was not as cool as Amplitude which had real bands/songs. Had to watch this video bc seeing the Bongos brought a flood of nostalgia. Then I remembered all of that ^ stuff too ✌🏼🦍🥁

This had to have been the least-worst game that Bandai released for the NES in the United States.

To me, this reminds me of Drake amd the 99 dragons. They had ideas of a multi media enterprise but didn't insure that the core asset, the game, was a quality experience.

For me, it actually WAS the best game on Wii, aside from Wii Sports, the actual only Wii game I still own and didn't sell off. I had the PS3 disc as well ( I'd already been a netflix sub since 05 so it was a no brainer to me) but I also actually...played my PS3. Luckily, the wii disc came out, and then i set the wii up in my living room for my dad to watch netflix on. I'd say over all, he spent more hours on my wii than I did.

I've recently entertained the idea of getting another Gameboy Color and all the games I used to have, turns out if I want to play MGS on original GBC hardware its going to cost me far more than it probably should, goddamn it.

I'm sure both of these things have been mentioned in the comments already but: There is a game for the 2600 based on the band Journey that has a snippet of Don't Stop Believing, that predates Goonies 2. Also, Bullet Witch was featured, alongside a few other video game heroines, in an issue of Playboy at some point. The only reason I know this is because my grandpa just happened to have that playboy issue in his garage and my family found it after he passed. We got a pretty good laugh out of that one.

Miss this era of mobile gaming. Now there's only third world unity garbage and Asian gacha games.
